I've just been told Tesco are dropping the ASDA price comparison and instead are only going to compare against Dev Alahan's corner shop. Is this right?
    ;)

Adam. Did you have your tooth out today?:D

Mr T had reduced the price of this tonight in my local store to £1 to match Mr A so no more DTD on that one

I bought one about 7:30pm at the higher price;) so it's maybe store specific.

Glad my local have decided to put the price of Betty Crocker back up from their stingy 74p though!

Hope everyone has had a good DTD day, bought a whole leg of lamb today OMG just managed to get it in the freezer, had to eat a cornett or 2 lol.

Had a quick look at the speadsheet for the finest pizza, couldnt spot it, maybe too much woolf blass, but could someone please let me know what the dtd is on them.
    Thanks

Like I did the other night. I've just spent a bit of time on both sites to find more DTDs for the spreadsheet. Remember they're unconfirmed (apart from the Ainsley Rices).

Another List of Possible DTDs. Please Add to the SS as unconfirmed.

    Oust All Purpose Descaler T= £1.63 A= £1.00 DTD = £1.26 NC= 37p

    Oven Pride Cleaning System 500ml T= £3.57 A= £2.50 DTD= £2.14 NC= £1.43

    Weedol Fast Acting Weedkiller 6pk T= £8.50 A= £5 DTD = £7 NC = £1.50

    Weedol Max Gun Natural Formula 1l T= £5.50 A= £4 DTD= £3 NC= £2.50 OR….

    Weedol Max Gun Natural Formula 1l (buy 3) T= £16.50 A= £10 DTD= £13 NC= £3.50 for 3

    Duracell Size D 2pack (buy 2) T= £6.70 A= £4 DTD= £5.40 NC= £1.30 for 2 packs

Hovis Teacakes or Muffins 4pack (buy 3) = T= £2.64 A= £2 DTD= £1.28 NC= £1.36 for 3 packs (should also apply to Hovis Pancakes but not as good DTD.)

Pataks 500g Sauces (Butter Chicken, Balti, Korma, Jalfrezi, Dopiaza, Rogan Josh, Tikka Masala – NOT Passanda) £1.48 £1.00 £0.96 52p

Rose’s Lemon and Lime Marmelade 454g (buy no more than 2) T= £1.47 A= £1 DTD= 94p NC = 53p (be careful to only get lemon and lime. Tesco also sell one that is just lime)

Ainsley Harriot Rices (Thai, Szechan, Biryani, Mexican) Must buy 4. T= £2.76 A= £2 DTD= £1.52 NC= £1.24 for 4 packets. THIS IS CONFIRMED. Was on today’s voucher. I bought 3x Thai and 1x Szechan.

    Shippams Beef, Chicken or Crab Spread (NOT salmon) 75g (buy 2) £1.48 £1 £0.96 2for 52p

Hopefully this helps some peeps and they get confirmed. :D

why quote me and not the person that bought it back up ???

all i asked after someone said it was is how has it been confirmed..

its funny how some are allowed to talk about things but others are not

Well ring them up yourself and ask them and then you can enlighten the rest of us. I thought we were all playing nicely tonight - so please don't start getting all a**** again.

just been out to tesco's with my sis and we are both a little traumatised, i risked 3 shops (had my excuses ready that one for my mum and one for MIL) and she did 2, went to a big extra store, we have usually go in an evening due to work and childcare commitments

a young foreign SA we usually go to who has never kept our recipts before kept mine, i asked if i could have it back and he said he didn't want to get into trouble, i asked why he said he had been told to keep them, he asked the guy on the next till (wish we'd gone to him now:() who said just sign it and give it back, then a trout walked past and said "keep it", said we've been told by HO to keep all reciepts.

She then proceeded to stand behind me with her arms folded watching as we put the rest through, she asked have you got more, i almost wet my pants and murmured "yes"-the dividers and betty crockers in each shop were a bit o a give away she didn't need to ask really!

Anyway no other problems, handed in betty vouchers as well, was a bit under so had to put thro some betty's that i'd kept for a seperate shop.

When it got to my sis's turn she proceeded to inspect my sis's voucher more thoroughly and told her her numbers didn't match although had completely ignored this on mine and advised her to input her numbers propely on the pricechecker next time. My sis tried to explain that she'd rung CS and it was a problem with the 24hr clock thing but she wasn't having any of it. Did accept the voucher eventually then went off into a corner with one of the other supervisors looking at us and talking, yes i know you were talking about me

we will be shopping in a different store for the forseeable future
oh got 2 of the 1p dormen nut packs though cheered me up!!
