I've been to Tesco 3 times today :rotfl: I went to one ive not been to before and it wasn't very good but did my DTD shop there anyway just to use it somewhere else. Then went to my regular store and did a 1p shop came out with 36 tins of organic tinned tomatoes, very happy! Also some adzuki beans .

Then went back at 5ish for my whoopsie shop! Never bought so much meat and veg for £10 yes £10!! I got a whole lincolnshire chicken large for £1.00, a beef joint for 1.09, a leg of lamb for £2.xx and lots of fruit and veg at at 10p oh and a pork loin!

Very good bargain day, I needed it too as we needed some normal food in and we are VERY skint!! lol

as some start others tend to end so seems ok oreally as can get other stuff then.. razors and coke ended last night comes to mind...

knew there was gonna be an offer on magnums soon, because the price went up by 29p :mad:

noticed today that the bar code on the beef in my local tesco has changed to 230040 and 230045 still £8.48/kg and described as topside/ top rump, left it on shelf as wasn't sure it would work- can anyone tell me whether the one they bought had this barcode?

I bought irish topside yesterday and had my voucher today

edited to add it had the same barcode as on the spreadsheet, was the last one on the shelf and looked a bit blown but tasted great today knowing I was paid to have it

Usually at easter the supermarkets do top deals on cases of beer (better then what's been around already), so I think there'll be some possible good DTD's there.

are the toms 'with chilli'? does it say chilli on the carton?
