Yes! Thanks for asking. Wasn't nearly as bad as I thought - just feels very odd having a huge gap at the back of my mouth where once was a tooth. Hasn't stopped bleeding yet, ten hours later. Having to have the same one out on the other side too, next month .

The dentist has diagnosed me with bruxism, which is teeth grinding, typically in the night. It's wearing away the enamel at an alarming rate so I'm also having a 'night guard' moulded. I'll look like a rugby player in full flow when I pull on my night cap soon.

Oh, and the receipt I mentioned yesterday is still 'processing' ;)

I had that a couple of years ago. Similar thing. The dentist gave me a plug to jam into my gap (bit like a filter on a ciggie). Only realised about 8 hours later what it was for, after it hadn't stopped bleeding. Soon stopped. I don't know if I was the fool for not trying it or him for putting it in a clear bag and not telling me what to do with it. :rotfl:

Anyway sorry peeps, back on topic. Wow. Just about caught up with the posts. Been off the forum on the spreadsheet for a while. The whips are cracking. So many changes tonight. :T

Running the risk of getting told off for being OT I used to grind my teeth and got a gum guard from the dentist. I was told to use it for a week then try to do without because its a habbit that just needs to be broken. It worked and I've never needed it again after that first week:T.
    Good luck
Couldn't think of anything witty to say so just keeping the space until I can :(

They are in the shed and too cold to go out, They are just the size of a standard tin, make sure they are organic ones, they look the same as the normal ones and are sometimes hidden at the back but are an EXTREMELY good buy, they are sooo tasty :) HTH
