be interested to know if anyone has done this as could use up some of my excess ones in then....

I can't remember where I saw the info on Express redemptions - thought it was the T&C's but I can't find it now. Also, I seem to recall somebody on here saying they had redeemed a voucher in an Express - might have been at too much Baileys though!

A tale of 3 Tesco assistants Miss Blondie, Mr Smooth & Ms Mouse :D

Today I picked a till manned by Miss Blondie. Whilst ringing up my Beef & Finest pizza she was distracted by Mr Smooth. This was fine with me, because the pair of them were more interested in each other, than my voucher...which she didn't even look at before scanning!

Off I trotted to the car & returned to risk a second shop, a good few tills down from Miss Blondie, I picked Ms Mouse.
Now, Ms Mouse was most distressed by my voucher and called for the supervisor. Can you imagine how white I went when said supervisor turned out to be Mr Smooth, who was none too pleased at being dragged away from Miss Blondie to deal with my troublesome voucher.

I was waiting for him to have a go at me, but no he snapped at Ms Mouse to ''just take it, that's fine'' she was waffling on about me not having a Clubcard, and a digit being wrong etc etc - you would have thought she was paying out of her own pocket, if mice have pockets. Luckily he told her again to 'scan it' and rushed back to look down Miss Blondies top.
A luckily escape for me today I think

Seriously, first time I have heard this and I certainly would not do it personally, but if it's the case, I can't believe how badly managed this promotion has been.

I know that it is the first time it has been mentioned that T are not tracking the vouchers in real time right now, but plenty people have spoken on here about reusing the receipts and printing out more vouchers and it has caused all sorts of debates and headaches.
Basically using a receipt to validate 2 or more vouchers is fraud and illegal (not just bending the rules, but proper illegal). They may not be able to see that you are doing it right now, but when they sort through the vouchers later they have a means of tracing the fraudulant vouchers (the numbers on the bottom) and could use cctv footage to identify the person using it. Personally I think there is no need for this anyway. I have rolledover a £20 voucher most days spending under £1 each time and many others do so too.

    It's only a game

While in tesco tonight i noticed

Yoo light thing toffee and vanilla 6x180g were now priced at £2.89 (could potentially be a bigger DTD, cant find them on asda to compare though)

Ambre solaire light and silky spf 15 now half price 5.00 (No DTD) However the spray version is still 9.99, not sure which one the spread sheet is refering too, thanks

this is exactly what they have done to me yes, looks like she signed her name/initials. in top right of NEW reciept.

so i took my OLD receipt in with my voucher that matched it. she took these both to her supervisor to check, then came back scanned it and took my money (few quid). then took the newly generated receipt from the machine AND SIGNED IT :( so now i cant get DTD on the new stuff

Once had a trout sign my NEW receipt and I just used it regardless to substantiate the next DTD voucher - nae problemo, not a murmur.

Suggest you do the same as there is nothing in the T&Cs to indicate this isn't allowed.

Indeed Tesco have confirmed in writing that it is 100% OK to use your new receipt to generate a new DTD voucher.

If anybody says 'that receipt is already endorsed' just explain the time it was endorsed and if necessary get them to call CS.

So I've reached the end of my £100 limit and just wondering what the rest of you are doing...do you use the final voucher to buy 'normal' shopping (i.e. bogofs etc) or do you use it for DTDs and save the receipt for next month and start the voucher chain over again?

Also do we know for certain whether it's calendar month (i.e. April) or 1 month from when you started DTD? If it's definitely calendar month I might be able to squeeze one more voucher....but I don't want to risk it if it might come back with THE email...

    Thanks! :)

Save it till next month, and start a fresh 1 without using CC n paying by cash

what do you mean? you went straight to CS and asked them to print u a new one? ive left the store now so i take it i cant do this :(

You can. You have 7 days from when you purchased it. Think you just need to know roughly what time the transaction was, what you bought and what till you went to. Sure someone else can confirm the various details you need x

This has been reported before. In future rip your own receipt off before he/she gets their mucky mits on it.
