Regarding the leg of lamb. Am I looking for English or New Zealand? The £5 per kilo lamb at Asda seems to be English but the £8.98 per kilo lamb at Tesco is New Zealand according to the pic that someone posted (sorry I forget who that was). Been away for a few days and struggling a bit with all the new posts.
It sais in the bible you can buy either. I picked up some English leg today.

I have noticed that a few of you have had difficult encounters with the Tesco's staff. I have to say that all the stores that my wife and I use have brilliant staff. Most of the check out girls & guys ask how do we save so much! We tell them and they then say that they will start to DTD too! :D

I am glad that I have never had the Spanish Inquisition  style questioning that some have experienced! Phew!! :D:D
Now debt free and working towards saving my 1st £1000!

but making a new email address to get the vouchers isnt???

    ITS THE SAME..

you go into tesco and say oh im over my limit but i just make new emails to bypass it see if they wont take the vouchers off you..

look, it's NOT the same... if you only recycle your vouchers then other then the store stuff seeing you too often or manually comparing ALL vouchers' details with CCTV there is no trail(and you can always argue you shop for someone else)... if you use the same voucher twice they will know exactly who you are within minutes! fraud or not, criminal offence or not I prefer to keep shopping at my local mr T...

I actually think this is the best form of attack. Get the trouts onside too. I often talk to the girls and lads, with a wink and a nod. Makes like a lot easier. After all it isn't their cash. Many are just about scraping by themselves. ;)
Agree completely. Worked for me so far! Touch wood
I love this site and all chums, but its making a dent in my bank account!!!

Have lots of things I want, but dont necessarily need... Must DO BETTER!!! :A

I have to say I felt a bit like Derren Brown tonight with my CS - £20ish spend, he scanned the voucher, looked blank, I said "oh, you just need to input the amount and sign my receipt", he did so and asked me for 7p to make up the difference for a £20 shop. All without blinking, almost as though I had hypnotized him!

Looking in people's trolleys and baskets (I am sure someone is going to thump me at some point!) few had signs of DTD shopping, so I am sure that although its big on here, it is not as widespread as some may believe - I have mentioned it to family and over one week on not one has bothered and they live much closer to Tesco than me. Most people won't even know about it, or vaguely hear it on the advert but then don't bother.

I got my first DTD voucher tonight...yay!

Then on closer inspection two of the numbers at the bottom of the voucher don't match with the receipt...boo!

One has a '9' missing and another as a '0' added. The cynic in me thinks that Tesco do this to give ammunition to store managers not to accept them. I am preparing myself for a struggle :(

Be strong. When you stand there, feel the MSE army behind you. You will not be beat. ;):rotfl:

thought we was moving on but hey..

what aboout when your houselhold as used its limit like all gone, none left, dead.. so you use a new email to get another limit..like a forged one...

What I choose to do is absolutely none of your business. You live your life the way you want to and stop trying to dictate to everyone else. I don't necessarily agree with what some poeple choose to do with this promotion but I don't feel the need to bang on about it all the time.

Have to say i agree. I've bought loads of wrong stuff, including some lamb and 2 bloody £10 toothbrushes for my nephews! But hey, you win some, you lose some. And if we are all honest, we have all gained from this anyway, so no big deal. Enjoy the beef.
i would normally agree the it was the right item as described on ss and by fellow mse..ers ... also talkingof fraud ... is advestising dtd on products where they charge u more and then not giving u dtd weather we play the system or not is false advestising is fraud ... plus they ripped me off on a legit shop 4 £16 so despite what u say i will take my meat back n get my money back coz i wont b payin tht sort of money for a peace of meat when theres only 2 of us ..

I think you are right. There are very few who are doing this. Some think you are saving a few pence and can't be bothered, but there are those of us who are making ££££££££'s

When I went to my store at about 7pm tonight I was apparently the first person on the womens till (she had been there for several hours) to bring one of the vouchers through so don't think many people know about it as yet in the grand scheme of things.
