hey im bending the t+c as much as the next person.. but im prepared to admit that..

but to try and say one thing is worse than the other is just kidding yourself...

Why are you still going on about it?

Leave people to do as they wish!

Stebiz even said you can have the last word and obviously wanted to leave it at that yet you are still going on and on and on......

Give it up, do what you do and let others do what they do....that means let them think what they want to, if you disagree with others way of thinking that's fine. But please stop trying to force your way of thinking on others.

10 Ways to Spend All Your Student Loan In A Week
  • Hi dtd'ers, it's been a while!
So much has happened, baby Olivia born, thread no4, I haven't posted since no1, been ill and haven't shopped since the day before the £20 limit took effect. So today compiled my shop, had to spend an original voucher £50+ to spend so planned carefully a few dtd items & same or similar at mr A. Couldn't believe all the offers on or prices lowered that were still more expensive than mr A. Before I left I worked my list would be about £35 ish so knew I had fill out trolley as I had quite a few vouchers to add to the dtd. I went a bit mad and spent £90. whoops! But I really did stock up. Every thing goes through the till, get all my vouchers out and then dtd voucher cashier, 'oh, what is this?'
'it a dtd voucher, here's the receipt to go with it'
' oh ok, but what do I do with it? I've not seen one before!'
so she waves to get help. Lady comes up, makes her clear and print a recalled transaction receipt and says we have to go cs as checkouts can't process anything over £10!!!!!!! great I think to myself I have 2 more biggish ones to spend!
So get to cs after slow queue and lady no3 hasn't seen one and has no idea what to do, lady no2 appologies to no3 for her having to put it through! Cs lady gets on phone I guess to find out what she has to do. I'm beginning to sweat, need to pick ds from nursery and this is making me cut it fine. I hear her say something about time being diff on the phone but cs man looks over say no it's fine 12/24hr mix. Cs lady gets off phone comesback then asks for clubcard, give it scans, scans new shop receipt then bless her she was still confused and kept asking cs man what to do. So she puts through all my vouchers I pay a few pounds and she wonders what to do with the voucher give it back to me? No cs man says just sign original receipt dtd voucher used and give back.

So spent 1st voucher, makes me think people aren't dtding in the store, it's a big store! Also makes me think that the whole £20 cap is just spiteful as in the grand scheme of things only a small portion of people are actually checking and therefore penalizing the average customer who does big shops if they do put it through the site checker. I guess this explains why mr t is still so expensive. It's a win win for mr t. But a win win on mse
Will see what new receipt brings and add any new ones.
    So glad to be back
Hope I haven't saved too much, did give myself a cushion though so fingers crossed!!!

jeez after all that calculating, checking from site to site, driving round, dealing with trouts ,unpacking and repacking cupboards to make it fit i forgot the flipping bread doh!

I usually have 6 loaves in the freezer, but that's gone out of the window as I need room for more important things! So have taken to buying my bread daily:rotfl:
    Beware!!!! Glitching is addictive:rotfl:

Whilst in tesco tonight they were busy turning various SELs up which means they are going on promo ( tonight is a main promo changeover day)

As I grabbed the last two aquafresh minty pump toothpastes, I noticed it's SEL was turned too so if it's on your list for tomorrow, make sure you double check the price first.

That would usually be a cue for me to pop along to Tesco in the morning, and see if I could get Double the Difference on the overcharge but I'm actually getting a bit sick of the place. Felt like asking for my own private trolley.:rotfl:

This is only my personal opinion - I don't want to get involved in any disussions of morality, criminality, fraud or any of the other accusations that some people are fond of banging on about! BUT, I can't really see that its fair to take back fresh food such as expensive joints of meat just because its not price matched - especially if its just that you've unfortunately made a boo boo and picked up the wrong joint! Even though its all spelled out on the SS there will still be times when it goes wrong and it seems very questionable to take stuff back when Tesco will just have to 'bin' the food . Surely this is one time when we should take it on the chin and accept the loss?

Have to say i agree. I've bought loads of wrong stuff, including some lamb and 2 bloody £10 toothbrushes for my nephews! But hey, you win some, you lose some. And if we are all honest, we have all gained from this anyway, so no big deal. Enjoy the beef.
