Flights to Venice

I'm looking for a flight to Venice from Midlands/North West airports - only snag is that I'm looking at booking the flights around the 26th Feb 2012.

There isnt anything coming up from Ryanair/Easyjet at the moment, as I'm not a seasoned traveller, I'm not sure whether they will have flights up this far in advance.

Is this the case?

I want to book my hotel now but abit concerned that there'll be no flights available, or do you think if I hang on a few months the flight timetables will start being listed and I'll beable to get a flight?

Any help much appreciated!

It will be a while before the winter schedules are published, put yourself on their mailing lists. I would recommend you do not book the hotel until you know what flights are available, as in winter they might no be daily and your hotel dates could pick a day when there are no flights.

Ryanair fly into Treviso which is well out from Venice. There is a bus service, but it returns at about 11 am, which basically cuts out your last day if you have alter flight.

Check times if possible, as my info may be out of date, of course.

When we went to Venice our flight back was not until approx 22:30 and we managed to get a bus/transfer to the airport with no problems.

Are you talking about Venice Marco Polo, which is fine, lots of links, or Treviso?
