Online EPC people?

I've been searching but can't find - can anyone find it for me...
There was someone a few weeks ago that posted a link to a cheap and cheerful company where you can buy your EPC online? They'd used them and were very happy. The rest of the converstaion was about prices.
I want one. Capable of Googling but if I can use one that's recommended by at least one person, I'll be happy.

Found the thread but the OP hadn't used them, just googled them.

I've put in details and they called back but by googling, it seems that they are linked to a previous firm that wasn't very reliable. I can't find specific complaints about the new company, except that it's the same people.
Going to follow the other link and see what a local assessor says.Everything that is supposed to be in heaven is already here on earth.

Further to that, next day EPC were charging £39.95. It sounds like in their previous incarnation they didn't treat the EPC people they use very well - ie. they didn't pay them.
I phoned my local EPC man who lives literally round the corner and he charged £50. I didn't try bartering, it's still £38 cheaper than the last one we had. He's coming on Friday
Keep it local, I guess

Thought I'd better chip in if only to stop you going mad Doozer......
Why the EPC? Sale? Renting? Point is they are sooooo .... well, pointless, that I wouldn't fret. You want a) the cheapest you can find b) delivered in your required timescale (get them to confirm dates in writing) and c) that complies with the legal requirements.
Beyond that, who cares? They are just bits of paper (well, virtual paper anyway)!0 -

Ooh friends!
Sale. Yes, you're right. With the cheap company's previous incarnation, some people weren't receiving their EPCs very quickly and there were quite a few assessors who were doing it on a reverse bidding basis and then not getting paid at all! That's not fair. They called me straight away after I'd gone through for a quote. They called from a blocked number which I know happens sometimes but seems to be less and less these days for me.
I should have bartered on the £50 for the man from the epcregister considering he doesn't even need to get into his car to come and do it, but that's my fault. He's coming on Friday morning and I should have it by Friday evening. So I can see just how energy efficient my solid walled house is!Everything that is supposed to be in heaven is already here on earth.

That's the problem. You won't. You'll be allocated a scale on the basis of 'solid walls'. Now walls constructed of different materials/thicknesses etc will have different natural insulating qualities, but he's not actually going to test your walls for energy efficiency! So I can see just how energy efficient my solid walled house is!
Same with your boiler. Identified as either 'modern condensing' or 'non condensing'. So allocated a scale. But he won't actually test how efficient it is, in fact he won't even turn it on to see if it works...... So your "ultra efficient modern condensing" boiler might in reality produce NO HEAT WHATEVER!
Under 'recommendations' he'll then advise you that installing cavaty wall insulation could improve your property's energy efficiency from X to Y, ignoring the fact that it's impossible to do this because you have solid walls.0 -
I got an EPC done for £35. It was emailed to me in a matter of days.
I would never go with an Estate Agent for an EPC they seem to charge £100.0
