T-Mobile Recommend a friend

I recently switched from Orange to T-Mobile's Flex-T 20 deal (£5 a month off at the moment) and while arranging it over the phone I just happened to mention that my boyfriend was going to switch to the same deal too. So the nice woman on the phone told me that they have a 'Recommend a friend' deal that gives BOTH OF YOU a free £20. So when my boyfriend rang to sign up for his contract, all he had to do was say that he'd been recommended by me, give my number and both of us were credited with £20 that was taken off our next bills.
Apparently you can do this up to five times during the length of your contract, so if you are thinking of signing up to T-Mobile it is well worth finding someone else on T-Mobile first and both of you will benefit!
Sorry if someone has already posted about this but I don't think this offer is widely publicised.

  • Hi

I'm looking at leaving Orange, and need a really cheap deal to cut costs. T-mobile Flex-T deal looks good. Would you recommend them?

Is their customer service better than Orange's?
  • Hi,

T-Mobile customer services have been good so far (better than Orange recently anyway) and the deal is much better than the old deal I had with Orange where I was always going over my text message limit. I have gone for the Flex-T 20 and it's only £15 a month :)
Maybe other people have had bad experiences but they seem good so far.
  • T-Mobile customer service sucks. Im leaving them end of this month because of their !!!! advisors. I had one guy tell me that i was asking for 2 much. they gave me a loyalty discount a year or so ago on an 18 month contract and have told me that I can either continue with this or get a new handset, or if i wanted both to pay £150 for the K1. I told them I think this is a rubbish deal as my bills average £120 a month. This months bill is £343 (dont ask). Any the !!!! i spoke to got a bit mouthy, which ended up in a bit of an exchange. Just in the process of emailing their entire UK board with this email about their absolute rubbish staff. I'd stay away from them. Flext sounds good, but on paper its not really that much better than some of the other deals.
