I have gone through the box of things that were in DH's work locker and have been sat in a box at his side of the bed for a long time. It wasn't too bad, some has been stored in the bed drawer other stuff put away ie few DVD's/videos. There are a couple of things that we will use eg torch, multitool thingy.

Messy Church and scouts this afternoon/evening so probably won't be back until much later.

Shellysue glad your Dad's op went well.:T

Happierdays can I be cheeky and ask what sort of dog Dogbot is? I feel like I almost know him, so I'm curious.;)

Dorastar Maybe you should do QHCs (Quarter Hour Challenges) like I do, til you feel better; that sounds like a really nasty lurgy you've had.

Juliejim how's your poor burnt lip? Sorry, only just catching up with the thread, so I've only just seen your post. I'd try putting an ice cube on the burnt area.

I really need to get to grips with being on “reversed sleep pattern” as the doctor likes to call it (“nocturnal” to the rest of us) but I have no idea how to try and tackle it. Everything I've tried has failed thus far. It's really becoming a major problem, though.:(
If your dog thinks you're the best, don't seek a second opinion.;)

Underneath the furniture and behind the settee will have to wait until next week I think. I now need to move the stuff off the settee and put it away and also the pile that's in front of the fireplace. Going to take the dog for a quick walk first though.

Last lot of towels are on the line and I decided to sweep the little area at the front of the house before putting wheelie bins back.

Needed to do something very active because I was so cross with DS1. I'd agreed to give him some money for helping out - however, I hadn't meant that to include tidying his room, especially not at the rate he was expecting. He gets pocket money, I pay for his guitar lesson and his phone (in return for on-demand babysitting), he has travel/lunch money when he's at college and also quite a few occasional extras.

Maybe I need to tell him that his help is no longer required (what a lie) as an incentive for him to find a part-time job.

Your not being cheeky at all, Dogbot or Egon (OH is a major Ghoust Busters fan) as he is really know in a black Lab/Pointer cross. He is 2 next month and OH and I are currently debating whether to get him a playmate.

(((hugs))) to you this is rotten, I know exactley how you feel as Ive been struggling to get my sleep patterns back to normal for months now, as Ive not been going to sleep until 4 or 5am.
After visiting the hospital last week they gave me some hints, Im currently trying by having a set bed time routine. So no coffee after 6pm ( I use coffee during the day to give me energy even though it makes me sickly :o) 10pm get a warm bath, No internet or TV for an hour before, so Ive been reading a chapter or so of a novel and whether tired or not in bed by 12pm, no light on and no getting out of bed. Its a bit hit and miss but Im going to give it a month and see how it goes. Ive also set my alarm to get me up of a morning to ensure that I do not sleep late and even if really tired I try really hard not to sleep during the day.
