Rarely drink now but I always found a can of Irn Bru & a packet of Hula Hoops helped.
    Booo!!!
  • One used by quite by alcoholics to keep them going when feeling a little peaky - whether hungover or withdrawing - is a large bottle of original lucozade and a bacon sandwich, followed by Marmite on toast and cups of strong tea. Same principle as dioralyte, but tastes a whole lot better.
I could dream to wide extremes, I could do or die: I could yawn and be withdrawn and watch the world go by.

best way is to drink LOADS of water during the day on the build up to a night out..i drink a pint or two of water whilst getting ready and it definately helps! if u mix drinks and stuff, that gives you a bad stomach but the headache etc is dehydration, so drinking lots of water should help with that!! however, when you have a massive night, i think you sometimes just have to ride out the hangover and write off the whole day!!

agree with the tiredness being the worst, think that is the age thing!! i;m 26 in a couple of weeks and can't do it like I used to when i was at uni, and my boyfriend (also 26) can't have 2 or 3 pints without feeling rough the next day!!

alternatively, full fat ribena and ready salted crisps!!

I didn't enjoy the Berocca but forced it down, if I'd been more hungover I doubt I'd have managed it though!

I wouldn't be able to drink the effervescent ones if drunk or hungover but it also comes in tablets like ibuprofen tablets and 2 of them before sleeping doesn't mean taking in any extra liquid.
If you always do what you have always done, you will always get what you always got!
