I'm sorry to say that the forum is less fun than when i joined and i can fully understand why divadee and others feel the need to take a break.
Please dont go forever, the forum wouldn't be the same without you. Have a well earned rest from comping and return to us.

I don't know what happened yesterday either and I don't think I want to It's really saddened me to see all the fighting lately, I see this as a fun hobby and try not to take things too seriously. This board was, and I hope still is, a fantastic community. The kindness and generosity of mse'rs has amazed me in the couple of years I've been comping.

It would be such a shame to lose you Diva, you've contributed so much. Obviously it's up to you to make up your own mind and I appreciate that you might need a break, but don't be swayed by what a few people might have said, hopefully this thread will show you that you are appreciated and will be sorely missed.

Whatever you decide, I owe you a big THANK YOU! both for starting this board (I didn't know that before reading this), as I wouldn't have won anything otherwise! and for all the effort you've put in to it :A

and this goes for anyone else who feels the same way too, as others have said, everyone is needed and valued.

I've been a long time lurker on the competition boards but only started comping about a month ago. Even though I'm a relative newbie, I have seen the massive amount of input that you've had in this section of the board.

I've not seen what happened, but having been involved and ran various forums over the years, I'm aware that there's a small minority that think everyone owes them and will take, take, take but not give back any thanks or respect. I am very grateful for what you've done over the years, and I don't know how I could even begin to repay you for all you've given.

Whoever has made you feel this way, please ignore them. This forum is full of love and respect for you and others, and it will be a sadder place without you.

If you do decide that you've had enough and that nothing can tempt you back, I wish you good luck in everything that you do.

I don't really understand what this is all about but what I do know is that you have helped to make a lot of people on here very happy compers. I appreciate all the hard work that you put into this board and hope that you will stay with us - please don't give up
