I have to negotiate this every night :o the 2 wash baskets are full of clothes that the lady I clean for gave me to put on ebay, the other bags are what I have cleared out to go on ebay or CB or CS and the duvet is supposed to go up in the attic when OH gets his butt into gear :o
I even have to put the washing to dry up here as there is no room in my tiny 2 bed cottage for anything :o

Right now Ive made a fool of myself Im hoping it has made you all feel better :rotfl:

Hart - I want those chest of drawers!! Your room looks like my room - bedroom twins

I've ground to a halt cos everyone is home - I'd have a perfect house if it weren't for kiddies and DH !!

    Glad the pic's helped :rotfl:

Until I moved in with my OH I used to keep my house spotless and everything tidy but then I had a bigger house :rotfl: and was at home more :o

I hate having a messie house but when I look at the clutter I just give up as I don't know where to start :( my OH does very little around the house, I know he works long hours and is Kn*****d when he gets home but I can't cope with it all on my own so I end up in a messy rutt :(

I love coming here, it helps to keep me going :D

    Hey messies,

It's been a while since I posted (must try harder), but things are still messy around here. I have been trying to do a little bit everyday, plus I have tried to Freecycle some items to clear space. Got an old sofa and a vacuum on their way to a new home!

I have a 4-day weekend so I'm gonna make a super effort to get things more organised here - simple things like clearing the pile of ironing that's been there for a week! (Poor OH had to iron his own t-shirt this morning *boo hoo*)

    Hope you're all well x

    WELL..........

Another productive day - as you would see if you could count the number of bin bags outside the house! :rotfl:

Just had a shower and now contemplating doing my roots - I hate the badger look! Made an appointment to have it cut next Wednesday too.

The living room is now more or less finished - just a couple of tiny areas to sort, plus I had a go at our bedroom - once I got going I was ashamed at how bad it was. Will go and put clean sheets on the bed in a minute, and possibly show it the hoover too - I can have a real deep clean over the weekend, especially as the weather forecast is rubbish!

Have a good evening everyone - tomorrow is another (cleaner, tidier) day!
    :j Almost 2 stones gone! :j
    :heart2: RIP Clio 1.9.93 - 7.4.10 :heart2:
:p I WILL be tidy, I WILL be tidy! :p

    Hi Messies

DD birthday outing to cinema went well yesterday. Started to clean kitchen cupboards and walls last night with a strong solution of soda crystals and hot water. Urghh:eek::eek::eek:the grease was disgusting. Whilst reaching up knocked my denby imperial blue teapot off the surface which smashed into smithereens:mad::mad:. OH said shouldn't I have cleared the surfaces first. Could have killed him!! This am went in search of buttons, had a trip to Ilkley, followed signs and parked in pay and display paid money displayed ticket and off DS & I went. Bumed into my old sewing teacher from evening class 14 years ago, we've still kept in touch she's like an auntie to me. Got buttons at very inflated price(since found them on fleabay) Got back to car to find a ticket on it!? Still 35 mins left. I had in actual fact parked in 30 mins only bay opposite pay & display. £50 plus £1.20 ticket price. I sat in car and cried! I can appeal and if I pay within 14 days it's half the price. Dropped DS at nursery, fairy godmother Angela came and we tackled another kitchen cupboard and filled a couple of bin bags. She left I sat down and fell asleep watching Royal Ascot to be woken by the phone telling me my daughter had finished athletics 15 mins previously at the junior school she is going to in September and would I like to pick her up?!! Needless to say I cried all the way there! Waiting for DD to be brought back from Rainbows, will get DS to bed and then I'll start back on kitchen. Managed to get 3 new cannisters out and new kettle(old one was pouring plastic bits each time it boiled despite being cleaned.)
