Did you actually read it?His spokesman said the couple had sold their £5 million mansion in Godalming
Can you work out where the £5 milllion has come from now???

‘It seems very unfair he is buying this house,’ said the woman, who did not want to be named.
He's not buying the house.
Anthea is.
This is just very sloppy journalism.
You can go bankrupt and live off your wife.
That's what marriage is meant to be about - you know supporting each other through the bad times.

“We have had to re-evaulate our lives, I don’t think a £5million mansion makes you happy,”
Anthea Turner, 2009

Quite frankly, who cares?? It's none of our business, its their money, they can do as they please! I think if I had five million quid burning a hole in my bank balance, I would do just the same!!:-)0 -
Looks like a 'buy signal' to me if the lovely Anthea is snapping up a house at the bottom of the market.0

indirectly, their creditors have paid for the place. Wonderful system ain't it.0

Who cares ? probably their creditors such as the cleaner and RBS."There's no such thing as Macra. Macra do not exist."
"I could play all day in my Green Cathedral".
"The Centuries that divide me shall be undone."

Is that what marriage is supposed to be about ? Using your spouse to "hide" money so that you don't have to pay off creditors ?
Didn't Anthea take rather large salaries or bonuses from Imagine homes, right up until it went bust ?
Anyone with any sense will not work for Bovey/Turner again. I'd rather starve than cut their lawns or clean their house. I suppose I might work for them if they paid me up front.30 Year Challenge : To be 30 years older. Equity : Don't know, don't care much. Savings : That's asking for ridicule.0 -
But it's not really is it... not in the eyes of the Moral Police.clivejohnson wrote: »Quite frankly, who cares?? It's none of our business, its their money, they can do as they please!
He had a property company where loads of people lost their life savings. She did the "interior design" (picked some sofas) and was paid fortunes for that (money was safe in her account). He then went bankrupt, so nobody he owed money to was paid.
They wait it out.
No problem.
Sleight of hand, smoke and mirrors - and the money was protected.
