I believe HMRC also took a hit, so all taxpayers helped him out.

Such an Annoying couple.....and it pains me that I find them SO irritating and SO utterly annoying and smug that I take a few mins to type out the fact. I judge them as I remember the creditors they shafted.....my OH got shafted by types like these in 2004 and had to pay down 50k debt because of their actions..a Pheonix thingy.

Worked like a dog for them , 100% A* work and the final payments never came in. He had to borrow to pay off the workers to the end of the job then *whoosh" company liquidated and he was done over. Me too.

I really hope that the saying ''what goes around acomes around'' comes true + bites the pair of them on the a$$ one day....so they feel how how they made others feel.

I remember reading about the cleaing company she booked and never paid...what a total cowbag..

You give my feelings words which are eloquent, and printable, where my language on the subject would be foul mouthed vulgarity.

I was hoping this couple had been found by Mrbadexample yesterday...

    Oooh.... which one?

The meal is guaranteed to be fab as......da daa...I didn't cook it myself...a rare event in my household as I Am The Resident Skivvy. Except this weekend, as I had to work all through it (I know :o and I missed all the lovely Vit D rays) and kids worked out that if they didn't prep something, there would be nothing tasty to eat for dinner.

The work was important to get done though as I have a buying meet on Thursday (a biggy one) and I lost 2 days design/devt time as we have SAGE training booked in for Mon/Tues. Costing us a bluddy fortune too.

    He's not buying the house.
    Anthea is.
This is just very sloppy journalism.

You can go bankrupt and live off your wife.
That's what marriage is meant to be about - you know supporting each other through the bad times.

From the marriage service in the Book of Common Prayer and other services: ‘With all my worldly goods I thee endow’.

So what's hers is his. Meaning he can use her stash to reimburse the people he owes money to. Which would be a nice gesture.

i don't understand how if you go bankrupt your assets are considered as completely separate to your spouse but if you get divorced the same assets would be considered shared / marital assets.

    can anyone explain the logic??

I have a good honest business, i rarely have anyone chase me for unpaid bills, and if they do it is usually an error that is fixed there and then
Should a man like Bovey have brought me down with him i assure you that i would be paying him a visit right now, and he he would honour his debt to me, one way or another.
