  • Thanks for link. I have seen the screen before at a similar price. Pity it works out at about £25 with delivery. Bit on high side as I picked up the PS1 on last years bargain MSE find of £14.99 for the PS1 Starter Pack plus Spyro. Ah well, maybe the screen will turn up cheap someday. Thanks again for trying.

They're talking about the PS1 one on Ebay.

Overall this is one of the bargains of the year at £10!

For that money I just took a punt because I can strip and mod the LCD for what i need it for, but it is a plug in connector.

the picture in the link below should help...

    That's for the slimline PS2 I think.

I think this is the one:

Looks like it has composite and s-video inputs.

I wonder if it will be possible to invert the LCD panel and set it up as a flip down telly? I suspect the internal cables won't allow it but worth getting one to see. I'll need a couple for use in the car as well... And a couple for christmas presents...

there's a big size difference between the two, but the slimline probably was probably just coming out two years ago, although i may wrong...

Here's an inverter to play on the move powered from your incar cigarette lighter.

Not sure that an inverter is necessary. The screen appears to have a 12V input and I presume this powers both screen and PS. You'd need to find (or make) the appropriate cigarette lighter adapter but I suspect it will be standard size.

My order is showing awaiting stock :-(

The 12v DC adapter only powers the screen. 240V AC is required to power the PS2.
