Three - voicemail on 30 days sim-only question

I'm now coming towards the end of what ended up being a *very* painful 18 months with Vodafone... and am currently looking at 30 days sim-only deals (so that I can make a swift exit at the first sign of trouble!)

I quite like the look of the sim 300 1-month on Three, however, their site isn't very clear about voicemail - is it free, deducted from the minutes allowance or always charged (like T-mobile)?

I think it's very clear. Just click Plan details.
Voicemail (Flat rate): £0.30 per minute

Yes, I know, I saw that... I'm saying it's not so clear because if you go to the main page for sim-only here: http://www.three.co.uk/Pay_Monthly/SIM_Only/Choose_your_SIM then click on the box which says "free stuff" then on "voicemail" it says "Setting up your voicemail and retrieving messages is totally free when you're in the UK. And it won't come out of your inclusive minutes."

So I wanted to know if anyone was on a 1-month sim-only with Three and could confirm one way or the other.

I think this refers to The One Plan (on the same page) that does have free voicemail included.

I agree but I'm not sure :p... in the full price guide, it says that voicemail is charged at 30p/minute on the 300 1-month plan outside of the inclusive allowance and that there's no charge for voicemail on the One plan outside of the inclusive allowance.

I think you are right and it comes out of inclusive minutes, then costs 30 p/min

Now you see why I'm confused? Oh and in the footnotes I've found this:
    1. Inclusive voice minutes in any price plans are for voice calls made from the UK to any other standard UK mobile (beginning 07 but excluding certain numbers – see page 27 for details) landline (beginning 01, 02 and 03) and voicemail (retrieved by calling 123 from your mobile in the UK).
So from what I can see, it *should* just be deducted from the allowance... but erm, well... I think I'll try again tomorrow, my head hurts now after going through so many plans from the various operators and all their small prints :p

    Hi,
I am on the sim 300 rolling 30 day contract with three.
You are not charged for voicemail, it comes out of your
    Free minutes/allowance.
I am very impressed with 3 so far!! Go for it.
It was easy to port my number to 3 etc, customer services
Are good. The 3G coverage is excellent
