Primus Saver and Plusnet Combo

Hi all,
The flat I'm living in at the moment has a BT socket which isn't connected and I'm looking for the best broadband deal.
If I go with Plusnet and get them to connect the line can I then cancel just the line rental portion and use Primus Saver for this?
