Not heard of Be, so the results are suprising, i might give o2 a try.

Be are owned by O2 and use the same LLU network, so the results are not surprising.

The results are suprising considering o2s new packages are as bad as talktalk

The new tariffs have only been out a couple of months therefore the people on those new tarriffs probably won't have been the ones voting.

O2's legacy packages represented excellent value for money and also had very good UK based FREE customer support. An award winning formula.

BE are a more niche provider providing truly unlimited bandwith with the luxury of a static IP, be it a little more expensive than it's sister company O2 bb.

Been with O2 premium 20mbps for 6 months and very happy with service/speed/reliability in London.

I switched my phone* and broadband from BT to BE just over three weeks ago to beat their price rise and have found that my download speed doubled (to 14.8 meg), my upload speed has tripled and latency has halved so I'm very happy. My contact with their customer services department, albeit limited, was a positive experience too.

So although they are certainly not the cheapest (especially since their price rise) I am definitely a satisfied customer!

    * = we switched the phone too because their Anytime package includes 600 minutes of calls a month to selected international destinations (including USA mobiles and our son lives there).

Hey! I won't hear anyone comparing anyone to the evil that is Talk Talk! ;)

What's more surprising, is that the government is giving BT £800million to upgrade their systems ... why not demand that a better company take over the UK network? I don't see them giving Virgin £800million to keep their business future-proof ... seems all a bit unfair and bad for customers.
I've been making animations for my daughter. Tell me what you think? Search for "Where are you Pickles?" and "Pickles and the Bully" on YouTube.
