USwitch - your opinion Martin?

Hi all
Just seen this article in the Mirror
If you are reading this Martin, what is your opinion on this? I see that they are one of your 'In a nutshell' recommendations but a bit nervous of using them if this article is true.
Also, tried using your 'Comparing the comparison sites' link on the gas and electricity article, but goes to a page on capped tariffs.
If there are tricks like this going on in the industry, it would be useful to see an article that compares these comparison sites in more detail.
What are other people's opinions on the Mirror article, if any?

Uswitch has never gone out of it's way to make things clear on its site, I've heard the story before about Uswitch demanding millions from utility providers and would never trust them. I would always recommend using an alternative (which is also energywatch accredited).0

700,000 x £40 is £28 million.
Who pays this in the end? The customers of course.
uSwitch (and similar companies) are adding to the cost of gas, electric etc.
GGThere are 10 types of people in this world. Those who understand binary and those that don't.0 -
They have always scammed, and is why for several years I refuse to use Uscam. It's PAC not PAC Code, it's MAC not MAC Code, it's PIN not PIN Number, it's ATM not ATM Machine, it's LCD not LCD Display, it's DVD not DVD disc... It's no one not noone, It's a lot not alot, It's got not gotten... Panini is the plural of panino - there is no S!!(OK my English isn't great, the sciences, maths & IT are my strong points!)0

I used them today to switch my electric but their website would only work with IE apparently and I had no choice but to call them. I did switch on the phone but the b*gger said I was therefore no longer eligable for the free Champers. I had to haggle for it and eventually he let me have it as it wasn't my fault their site wasn't working properly. Ngha.0
