Firstly I am really angry with this company. I am at my wits end knowing what to do next..
Ordered over the internet A Secrets of hearts Bracelet costing £99.00 Limited edition. On the 25th January this year. Agreed to pay in installments. 1st one was £34.99 which incl the postage, then £24.99 x 3.
On the 1st February 11 I cancelled it over the phone.
Two weeks later guess what the Bracelet arrived and they had then taken £34.99 from my bank account.
I rang customer services who sent me a prepaid envelope to return the Bracelet and appologised. Said once they receive the Bracelet back they will refund me. So posted Bracelet back with a proof of posting receipt. ( I did querry this when posting about the saftey)
I then received an invoice for the next months payment! I rang them again. They said sorry and put a stop on any more arriving.
I have rang them three more times and each time they have said they have not received the Bracelet back. I was then asked to send the proof of postage back ect to prove I had returned it.
Sent back special delivery as wanted to make sure it arrived this was on the 17/03/11. Tracked letter arrived ok.
Left it another week then rang again. Nothing. Emailed within there site who promise to return email replys within 24hrs returned me nothing.
Rang again still not recieved, blamed another office who sorts there mail saying they are behind and leave it two more weeks.
Today I recieve an Urgent Please pay £49.98 today invioce.
I am now hopping mad. Tried to ring them shut till Monday.
I appear to be dealing with some special imbersills.
Please help as don't know where to go from here. Avoid this company like the plauge

Put it all in a letter, dates, payments, the whole complaint - put it in non-emotive terms, just events and dates.
Send that letter recorded delivery giving them 7 days to refund you /sort everything out.0 -
Many thanks for your reply. What happens if they don't respond? + What happens if they pass this on to a debt agency?0
-
If you think that is likely, title the letter "letter before action" giving them 14 days from receipt to return your money before you start court proceedings. If they do not, you take it to small claims court, it costs £30 but that is added to what they owe you, so you get it back.
It is more likely that they're incompetent than malicious though, I imagine they will respond pronto. You have nothing to fear from debt collectors, tell them (if that ever happened) that the debt is disputed and that they have no business with you.0 -
Ok. Written letter to Bradford Exchange sent yesterday via 1st class recorded. Hopping mad me I am now. Received a final demand for the Bracelet I know longer have after being promised I would get no more.
I have rang the idiots again who said "we have not received the Bracelet back" I give up! I am not paying for something I do not have and returned.
I am in two minds to ring Trading Standards too!0 -
You have proof it was delivered to them, they signed for it. If they lost it at goods in, that's their bad luck!0
