GJ, now to go for the jugular and get all the extra cost's you have incurred paid back, inc extra insurance premiums etc.
  • Well done but ridiculous it took this long. From the pictures you posted and what you wrote it was pretty clear cut, well, to me it was.

congratulations barney! it was 16 months of worry for you and yours though, thanks to one nasty old man.

if only every vehicle was fitted with an in-car CCTV, motorists wouldn't be having these prolonged fights. Unfortunately, the devices still cost circa £200...

The rear facing camera is next to useless due to sunglare in that example unless it's a taxi, then it's very useful.

Interesting that they also have a telemetry display.

At the end of the day, the lorry was travelling too fast too close. They could possibly get some blame from the mercedes driver that he uneccessarily came to a stop.

It would reveal if the driver nodded off prior to an accident.

But would hardly likely to be released by the driver unless he is unconscious and the police inspect the vehicle.

Lots of these are being put into cars/trucks by fleet managers though

Yes, ok it may help to sack the employee, but the insurance liability would be the same.

All I was saying is that maybe they could have got a better promotional shot without sunglare that showed the road behind.
