Mine took about a week to change to premiere. You have to keep checking your bank account till you see the deposits then you just go and fill in the details and its done:)
The basic account only lets you do upto £500 I think (I thought they meant per transaction but they probably mean all told)so maybe you reached that limit.

    Thanks culpepper.

I'm still not sure what I did, but I think I made too many transactions in one day:o and it seems it's a problem at my end of the money chain.

But I think I've done all I'm supposed to, like get the 4 pin number and paypal ring you and you punch the numbers in etc. Is that all I need to do do you think?

And I'm nowhere near the limit - I'm about £420 off it thankfully. I'm never going to be a power buyer :D Maybe I've missed somethin if the limit is still £500?

Yeah, i probably will. I actually opened my paypal account months ago, i got as far as opening up the premiere account but never used it. However, i went into the account yesterday and it said that i would have to opene up a direct debit so that they can deposit money into my account and prove the account is live. I am waiting for their deposit into my account.

However, i have read many stories about how paypal has ripped people off and am now wondering whether to stick to my guns and not include it into my payment system. I certainly dont like the idea of a DD being set up on my account as it isnt governed by the normal banking rules.
