Weekend 9th/10th April - What small DFW things will you be doing this weekend???!

Morning all - glorious here up north!
Been out with the dog for 30 mins and done the Tesco shop already. Came in under budget - budget was £40 and after £6.50 C-Card vouchers were taken off the shop actually cost £29.50 :j:j
Very skint until payday on Friday and so every tenner helps! Chuffed to bits!
Anyway, for the rest of the day...- Take dog out for a nice country walk in the sun - will probably call in at a pub for a drink/sandwich so will involve a little spend.
- Wash the bedding and dry naturally
- Hoover downstairs later - get out in the sun first while it lasts - housework can wait!
- Stick to diet - scales says I have lost another 1lb this morning but will wait for official weigh in on Tuesday for confirmation
- Stay in tonight and watch a movie
- Make tea from restocked stores
- Checked bank - hopefully will stay outof overdraft until Friday's payday.

Thanks to everyone who posts competitions. You are the stars of the board :T:j:T0 -
evening all on this glorious saturday
So far I have- weeded the veggie patch (well half off it, its quite large)
- harvested some rhubarb for a nice crumble for sunday lunch
- received free seeds from a survey so planted them (carrots, lettuce and spring onion)
- tidied up the raspberry canes
- moved some freecycle slabs to the area which will eventually become our patio/seating area
- hung one wash up to dry
- meals from stores
Between now and sunday I will- buy a tin of outdoor paint to treat the raised beds
- paint said raised beds if the weather holds
- keep the mcdonalds monopoly vouchers
- take treats to theatre with us rather than spend a huge amount of money inside
- do another couple of washings (30 degrees) and get them out on the line
- move the old shed to area of garden I cant see - its annoying me and looks SO untidy where it is. Might even bonfire it if weather holds!!

This made me laugh as I've done the same thing! Moved it out of sight... :rotfl:
Had a really busy day today, hense not posting til late, my list is a bit feeble as I had sooo much to do today but it was mainly the one major job.....!
- Checked banking
- Put up my new retractable washing line (on old shed that we moved...lol)
- Hung washing on said washing line
- Lifted 3 foot by 10 foot of turf ready to level garden
- Went into town for lunch, treated girl-friend as she helped me with the garden. She drove and paid for parking though:T
- HC x2 and on line
- Dug more turf!!!!
- Dug more turf!!!!
- Organised turf heap....
- Dug more turf!!!
- DB3's friend plumbed in an outside tap for me. Only paid for parts, though not even that really as DB has paid! £10! Bargain!
- Kept boys fed and watered while they were digging turf.
Garden has pretty much been my day today, made the most of the weather and done most of it. Only a little bit left to do then we can start levelling then lay new turf, then decking....phew it's a bit of a project and I'm currently at the point I wish we hadn't started! Turf should be down next weekend and I'll have my amazing garden!
JxNothing to report as yet...give me a minute...!0 -

Morning all!
Hope everything is ok Determined? If any one can sort things out you can!
I had a bit of a rubbish day yesterday too - took the dog to a National Trust place and for lunch at a country pub but OH is all tied up in a new phase of depression and anxiety and its making life quite difficult at the moment. I can't tell anyone as no-one else knows and he doesn't want anyone to know so at the moment I have to plough through and try and help and cope with it. I ended up watching Mamma Mia and secretly crying through it - need to get a grip but sometimes its a bit daunting.
Anyway, today is a new day and its a nice day again so I'm going to get on with life (for now!). I'm not a "down" sort of person and can't really understand it all but I do try.
So my list....(sorry for moaning - no one else to talk to:o)...- Taken dog to the park for a run around before it gets too hot for him
- Will do 30 mins of Nell McAndrew DVD torture soon before showering etc
- Change bed once OH gets out of it
- All food from stores
- Hoover and dust house
- Clean bathrooms
- Do one set of marking later
- Take dog out again a couple of times
- Try to stick to diet - went to pot yesterday:(
- Maybe attempt back garden mowing later
