Sorry if this has been asked before. Just got email from Easyjet to tell us our flight will arrive into Rome Fiumicino and not Ciampino as we ordered. There is no direct public connection between the two -a taxi will cost at least 50 euros. We have already hired and paid for at hire car out of Ciampino . Have easyjet any obligation to get us to Ciampino as per our booking?
any help gratefully received

How much is it to change the car hire to FCO?
How much is it to change the flights to Ryanair to CIA?
Decide what you want easyJet to contribute to then send them an e mail and see if they make you an offer.Posts are not advice and must not be relied upon.0 -
The return is still seemingly from Ciampino and the car hire site won;t allow different drop off -pick up points.0

Ryanair don;t fly to Rome from Bristol (our departure point)0

I think (and I will try to find info) it is the carriers responsibility to get you to your destination.
Your destination is Ciampino so they should make sure you get there, and bear the costs involved0 -

In Article 8 1(b) re-routing, under comparable transport conditions, to their final destination at the earliest opportunity..
surely 'under comparable transport conditions' cannot mean solely by air? I'll be writing to them straight away.

I'm certainly putting that point to them . If not by taxi the public transport costs seems higher and take 3 times as long.

Just checked they've rerouted the return journey now as well. Do you think the regulation covers our making our way to a different return airport. i.e. we have an obligation to get back to ciampino -they have an obligation to get us back to Fiumicino
Our car hire is pick up and drop off in Caimpino. So we'll still have to get back to Fiumicino after getting shot of the car.0 -

Will opodo help me switch as a measure of good will ?Can you see if you can change the car hire since it is now arrive and depart from the same airport
