Westcott Services - Scam??
Does anyone else get multiple messages left on their mobile phone answer service that sounds like this:
Hello, this is a message for Alan Jones (not me) from Lynn at Westcott Services, please call 0870 0240440 and quote reference ... etc and ask for extension ... etc.
I am getting the same recorded message left several times a week, I obviously have not phoned the 0870 number as I suspect it is a scam (they never seem to call when the phone is switched on) but I am paying Vodafone to listern to the message each time.
I have tried saynoto0870, but they do not recognise the number or company name.
Can I block the call? Does anyone know or have any advice?

Update:
OK, could not contain myself any longer, used callchecker to find cheapest way to call the number, it turns out to be a real company "Westcott Credit Services", dept collection part of Equifax who happen to have a free phone number. So I'll call the free number in the morning with the references and find out what's going on.

Its a debt collection agency.
If you are not the 'Alan Jones' they are after then they obviously have the wrong number0
