I have more than enough 'things', so surprise trip, like a posh city break would be right for me.
OH keeps saying that I 'need' a ruby ring, but our Nile cruise was what I wanted.Member #14 of SKI-ers club

We had a night in a posh London hotel, dinner at a nice restaurant and a west end show. Next day, VIP trip on the London Eye and Afternoon champagne tea at The Dorchester - wonderful.0

Well, in that case, a piece of jewellery would seem to be the appropriate thing.
I'd go with a pendant or earrings, not a ring which she might be expected to wear every day.Member #14 of SKI-ers club

My DH gives gifts that are 'unforgettable' - sadly, for the wrong reasons. (worst being a handheld games console & 'Brain Trainer' for my 50th. I have limited dexterity due to RA and am not forgetful.)
If your wife is not dropping subtle hints either ask her direct or conspire with a friend or relative.
May I wish you a wonderful anniversary together!I can cook and sew, make flowers grow.0
