    I'm so sorry to read this and hope that Sophie will return, or at the very least that you find out what has happened to her. I know I'd be in pieces if it were my cat, and my thoughts and prayers are with you.

    Have you tried asking neighbours if they have seen her over the last few days? Maybe she has just got herself shut in somewhere?

    I remember my old Marmaduke went 'missing' and was later found shut in MY garden shed :o
