Hi to a fellow veggie! :j

Part of my 'mwahahaha take over the world' plan is to learn how to make brilliant scones...is there a secret or just practise?! :T

It's not the practice it's the tasting :D just don't manhandle your dough too much. I've also heard when cutting them not to twist the cutter as this stops them rising as much as they could. I love scones!

Made Saturday's left over Indian dishes into "Indian soup" so that was around for lunches and snacks.

Mon - BBQ (burgers, chipolatas, chicken in lime & corriander kebabs, steak in tomato & piri piri kebabs, with various salads.
Tues - Polpettine in tomato sauce & linguine
Wed - [STRIKE]Mozarella chicken with madeira & mushroom sauce[/STRIKE] leftover meatballs and tomato sauce added to the "Indian soup" for lunches and snacks. Dinner - lo BBQ ribs from Mon with lo boiled potatoes made into a sort of Pan Haggerty - filling half an onion, chopped, lo mozzarella and creme fraiche salad & spinach from the garden.
Thur - [STRIKE]hm ready meals from freezer[/STRIKE] Mozarella chicken with madeira & mushroom sauce
Fri - we have visitors - prawn stir-fry for starters, shichimi duck breasts & noodles (from Wagamama's cookbook) for main and baked peaches for desert
    Sat - Thai chicken curry
Sun - Roast - probably Chicken & Gammon with butternut ratatouille
