I need £7,000 for two months

My God, I've read some daft ideas on this forum in the last year but this takes the cake."We want the finest wines available to humanity, we want them here, and we want them now!"0

I would advise against doing it. Strongly Advise against it, infact.
Be polite and tell him that you are unable to get a loan because of your credit rating.0 -
D,
On the basis that you have been together for 4 years, trust him etc I will try not to sit in judgement about whether you should lend him the money or not!
As long as your credit rating is good you should be able to get that kind of sum on your salary. What you are looking for is a loan without early repayment penalties with narrows it down to the post office or zopa. Zopa has setup charges so that leaves the post office option as your best bet. The loan should cost you about £100 in interest for 2 months.
Good luck.
R.Smile, it makes people wonder what you have been up to.

I would suspect he may decide not to come to Britain afterall because I have to wonder why you havent actually met after 4 years. You may be one of many £7k girlfriends Im afraid.0

Change of email, change of number girlfriend gone = £7k pubDon't put your trust into an Experian score - it is not a number any bank will ever use & it is generally a waste of money to purchase it. They are also selling you insurance you dont need.0

I also agree that without knowing more details, it sounds very dodgy, but the OP has never said that they have never met, just that "we've been doing the long distance thing since we met"
This could very well mean that he comes over here a couple of times a year and she goes over there a couple of times a year.
Lets wait until there is more information.0 -
Where does the £7000 figure come from? From scouring the interwebs this seems to be an approximate number for how much a course would cost (minimum), this would only imply he could cover the costs of the course and not actually be able to support himself while here surely? (Could be reading it totally wrong), I must admit though reading only the OP alarm bells started to ring, but I guess there might be more info to suggest otherwise.0

It is a requirement for the spouse visa that both parties must have actually met each other. You also (quite rightly) have to prove beyond doubt that your relationship is a genuine one - I'm not trying to discourage OP, but really think seriously before going ahead with it (also if the relationship ends within the initial 2 year period, he would have to leave the country)0 -
