Tell me more about this whoopsie Mac? :)

The whoopsie mac started out as paranoia (too paranoid to use windas) one Sabbath so ordered a fossilized mac off ebay. Way too fossilised (Mac OS 10.2 - see how much I knew LOL) to get yahoo chat. Almost took it to local repair shop to get 10.4 or 10.5 on it for £50 - which I had of done. My alternative (hospital chaplain) still has it!!!LOL

So on the Monday no fossilized mac (hosp chaplain had probs with it) so I whoop out to PC world and just get one on HP (okay so PC rip off's HP isn't that bad...over 2 years after deposit that came out of the OD which is not the end of the world for these things. Less interest if I pay off sooner)...So initial Mac purchase = £100 (just under) on OD...now Macbook purchase of another £850 - I reckon that's easy £1k whoopsie on macs LOL...

Plan to sell the netbook and the old mac (ibook) when the hosp chaplain gets his act together but it's like watching paint dry....

Only progress with the netbook is that today - finally I get all my photos and music shifted onto mac (via external hard drive...It's about the easiest way) so that's good. All books have already been shifted (via calibre I think?).....so that again is good...so maybe Monday am the netbook can go into the hospital chaplain for a wipe and new OS on it...:)...

So yeah paranoia plus rebellion = £1k more in debt :(....and a resolution to stick to budget and snowball (basically OD first as that's the lowest, then macbook then loan)

Just realised that I've reached 100 days without a cigarette today too :j

I've just started this journey this pm inspired by Lucy's thread :) ....so praying types of folk please pray for me..I'll be pretty flabbergasted if I get to the first week :)...Will need you guys. Considering I spend currently around £30 or just over on cigs and like £20 on average on food the logic makes sense. Boots were ever so nice though. Walked up there for the appt praying. Not sure as to whether to go for patches and puffer or just nasal spray and in the end opted for nasal spray....so watch this space and pray I sleep okay tonight

So yeah well done all us non smokers...WE ROCK :D (even if one of us has just gotten a whoopsie macbook )

PS. Due to tiredness no food shop bar bare essentials and no cardmaking ...och it can wait :)
