Morning everyone! It's a bit overcast here today, but I did see the sun st 7am..... but where has it gone now??

Had a busy day yesterday as had to do year end and send it off to HMRC  Obviously everyone else was doing the same as when I tried to submit I got a message that made me chuckle "The Government is currently not responding......" :rotfl::rotfl: Do they ever??? Anyway, got 2 more systems to clear today and then its ready to roll for another season :T:T

    On todays list:
Heating is off (only been on for an hour since yesterday morning :T)
Washing is on the line/smalls are on the airer
Packed lunch for OH but he took all the bread so DS had to take dinner money
    Checked internet banking
Need to check cashback sites to see whether theres anything going on :)
I will go for a walk at lunchtime (will be truly sick of looking at payroll systems by then :rotfl:)
Got to deliver some things I sold on Ebay last week and collect something I purchased, managed to roll them both into one trip to save diesel though :D

Probably going to be a late night tonight by the time I get back but at least I have de-cluttered and made some money :j

Hope you all have a good day :D

    Hello All,

Today I am doing the following:
    • work (I have too many calls to do today!)
    • dinner from leftovers
    • packed lunches
    • finally getting around to putting stuff on eBay (I meant to do it on Monday and never did)
    • updating my money spreadsheet as it was payday yesterday so most of my DDs are off
    • seeing if the OnePoll website is behaving itself today as it wasn't yesterday
    Have a good day everyone.

Blue skies today here. Had a bit of a shock yesterday, as I found out that one of my DH CC APR is 30%, which is never knew. So I had redo our snowball again and this has extended our DFD by 2 months. Hey ho.

    Today I will
    • [STRIKE]Walk to work[/STRIKE]
    • Check bank balances
    • Check surveys - been a bit quiet on this front
    • Have homemade lunch
    • Charge mobile and ipod at work
    • Check my items on Ebay - 3 have bids and 5 have watchers. I have a feeling I will be relisting at the weekend!
    • Walk home
    • Yoga practice
    • Leftovers for dinner
    • CV and covering letter for job
    • Sign up to more job sites

Morning all! Had a really rubbish night's sleep - the house alarm and smoke alarms decided to go bonkers for no apparent reason - cue OH and me shouting at each other at 3am, neither really knowing what's going on and ending up in a strop! Oh well, life goes on!

    Today's little list....
    • Walk the dog (dog still in bed after night drama!)
    • Stick to diet
    • Do one set of marking
    • Clean patio doors
    • Buy new batteries for smoke alarms
    • Phone doctors
    • Checked banks - nothing happening
    • All food from stores
    • Maybe hoover car if weather gets better
That's it for now - have a good day.

Okay guys. I have a revelation - whilst Grampian China Net (local NHS internet.....it blocks so many sites you might as well be in china LOL) blocks facebook etc etc it hasn't wised up to MSE...so I'm sitting here wondering a) when my psych's secretary is going to join me on here......LOL..- my psych despite his £100K a year salary is Mr Frugal and (b)does your work block MSE or does it just block FB etc? I noticed @ training scheme most nanny programs block FB but not MSE....eh this is a bit dumb cos MSE can be way more addictive than the likes of FB. or should we just not tell 'em

Again it could be a poll or a new thread? Does your work interwebby block MSE? How often do you go on MSE @ work LOL

    Hi everyone

    Shhh I'm working ;)

I didn't get on yesterday because it was my birthday :D I was a busy little bee all day :D Spent my time before work opening my pressies and cards - a pandora bracelet no less and a voucher for a massage :D I like OH's style - the voucher was HM and I can 'cash it in' after he gets paid ;) At lunchtime I was in Boots trying on sunglasses (have half price voucher for sunglasses and a gift voucher to use = perfect). Buying them today so I can use double points voucher - didn't realise you could only use that once a day - had already used it once yesterday. After work I met up with OH and we went for sushi. Not the most DFW but he paid :p so was ok for me ;)

    What else?
    • Free cuppa in work
    • Yoga tonight - take water bottle and walk there/back
    • Order new yoga bag with bday money - have seen it on two websites - will obviously pick cheapest!
    • Tidy round before I go out tonight = relaxing night when I get back
    • Big bath with bath bomb pressie = nice little treat
    • Read library book
    • Gave colleague used stamps - she collects for RSPB fundraising
    • Do my own nails
    • Buy new mascara with bday money :)
    • Check banking  So scary and we still need to get groceries :(
    • Stashed £2 coin
    • HM sandwich for lunch
    • No snacks from the machine at work
    • Get out in the sunshine at lunch/enjoy the walk home after work
    • Really really really try to save £35 bday money (rather than spending it on household stuff) - will treat myself to a new charm on payday if so - Suspect it will go towards bills though…

Have just checked Tesco website and they're £3.50 for two so will pop over later - provided I can go in and out and not buy anything else - a challenge!

Sounds like you had a good day! Thanks for the reminder about the double points voucher, as I will be ordering so glasses next week.

I'm supposed to be working but I am having a little break, shhh! Erme, if MSE was blocked I would be lost through my working day.
