I can also recommend Hostal Victoria. It's very central and close to the centre - it's a hotel despite it's name. You can also get a bus to and from the airport (no 19) from a stop 50m from the hotel - the fare is 1 Euro and there's lots of space for luggage. Great town and an excellent Picasso museum.
  • There you are! Two recommendations for Hostal Victoria!

Imagine someone holding forth on biology whose only knowledge of the subject is the Book of British Birds, and you have a rough idea of what it feels like to read Richard Dawkins on theology: Terry Eagleton

Thanks - the website offerd rooms for 2 / 4. It also has dorm accommodation.

I assume it's safe to book and that me and mrs won't be sharing with another couple? Not that I'm prudish but I doubt we'll try swinging after all these years.

I didn't end up sharing when I was there - didn't realise there was such potential excitement available!

Learn from the mistakes of others - you won't live long enough to make them all yourself.
  • We just booked online - a double room with bath (NB: MY husband ordered a room with a bath as we only have a shower - he thought it would be a treat to have a long soak. When we arrived, sure enough, the room had a bath, but it was a Spanish bath and only about a metre long)! :rotfl: Don't know quite what we expected in a hotel in Malaga!
