    Pay Sage to convert, buy a new pc and pony up the money for a newer version, not exactly money saving advice. I do though agree with what you say in principle, she has made a mistake in not realising that software needs to be updated from time, in her defence, doing accounts and wages is about the only time she uses a pc and is a complete luddite. No matter though, lesson learned i suppose.


    er, she must know that software needs updating
    & if she actually went on the Sage website from time to time, she'd have known when she needed to update.
    (if its set up as a proper business, the cost of the new version of sage can be expensed or depreciated, same with a computer)


    2 choices:

    get everything updated, new version of sage, get the data imported, keep up to date etc
    or
    get someone else to do the accounts
  • Pay Sage to convert, buy a new pc and pony up the money for a newer version, not exactly money saving advice.

    There are certain areas that should never be skimped upon. This is a good example of one of them.
