if it is a split pipe - how much are we looking at? its petrol.

Best bet is AA or RAC.

Pipes are funny things, petrol ones more so. Some have special connectors, some have worm clips.

At least it's at the front so your tank sounds good.:o

Garage will quote a couple of hours and the cost of the pipe (£20 tops for that).

Or do you not mean that it's leaking petrol

I've also had my head gasket replaced in November but my car has been leaking oil since. just a small amount every time i turn off the ignition. I've had the rocker cover gasket replaced and it is still leaking. Could the rocker cover housing be warped? If so, how much will this cost?

If you've had the top end done and it still leaks why haven't you taken it back?

i've taken it back to the garage 3 times and they have said that its just the residue.

I'm taking it back to them tomorrow and they believe that the head is warped.

it leaks from the head and runs down the sump.

Will this be costly. I am going to refuse to pay as this is a job that should've been done before!

Is it a main stealers or an indie garage?

Is it a main Fiat dealership or your local independant garage that will deal will a mix of makes of car?

Or even a bloke at the end of the road with a good tool kit.
