Sky TV..is it possible?

I have Sky TV installed in the downstairs lounge. My son had Sky TV installed in his bedroom as a seperate account with his own viewing card. My son moved out leaving his Sky box ( and card) and all the wiring. I want to extend the wiring ( no problem there) and move his Sky box into my bedroom. Is there a way I can watch the viewing package I have in the lounge or can I only use the Sky box in the bedroom as a freeview box?

Not really, some of your options are:

    1. Pay Sky the multi room fee.

    2. Move card and box from lounge to 2nd room each time

    3. cable from RF out of Sky box to TV aerial input in 2nd location, view same channel upstairs and down.

Follow Kurtis' advice but with one other option.
Connect the RF lead to RFout2 and connect in a Magic Eye and use your sons remote to control the lounge box from the bedroom aswell.

I visited my brother in law last week and in a second television he had some small device that just plugged into the arieal socket
and you could watch Sky in another room, it looked like a very small computer mouse with just a 4 inch cable and nothing else.
He said it cost about a fiver.
make the most of it, we are only here for the weekend.
and we will never, ever return.

That was the magic eye stated above, it doesn't assist you, and is not needed, to watch Sky, it just allows the return path for a Sky remote control, it still needs to be hard wired using coax, either directly or via a compatible distribution amp to the RF out on the rear of the Sky box.

    I've been Money Tipped!
If the boxes are the same (E.G Sky+ Or HD) in one room to another, it may be something to consider as it is frowned upon by sky but it does work. Just take out the card from the subscription box and put it in the other one.
