Insurance & Dropping your phone

i dropped my fone and half the screen is half white and you cant see the 1st half of the screen! Its a w810i and its insured, if i phone and say i dropped it will it still be covered??

i am half tempted to go to the police and report it stolen but already lost one in March and dont want them to question me???

Advice please?

Have a look at your insurance certificate, it will tell you if it is covered for accidental damage. if it is then you are ok to make a claim I cant see a problem to be honest . thats what insurance is for .

Don't whatever you do report it as stolen if it isn't. If found out you'll be charged with wasting police time and if you make a claim, you could be faced with a fraud charge!
