Daughter wants one of these handsets. Daughter wants threaded text messaging. Carphone Warehouse say yes. Phones4U say.."errrrr". Literature says nothing.

Can anybody (current user?) confirm this phone has threaded text messaging?

Yes it has a text conversations faciity.
I bought this phone for my son unlocked from Phones4U instead of a Blackberry. By adding a p&g sim from Giffgaff which for £10 a month gives 250 minutes, unlimited text, unlimited internet and free Giffgaff to Giffgaff calls and texts he now has all the internet and chat he could want without me having the worry of him running up large bills or being unable to reach us in an emergency.

Thankd Dolly. Collected yesterday and she's very happy. Does your son know how to ensure connected to Wifi rather than mobile internet. Daughter aint sussed that yet and the manual is pants

It appears the one let down with this phone is the instruction book but to once you do sort the settings out its so easy to use.

For wifi you need the SSID (router name).

In Apps go to Wi-Fi (no 9) and select. It can take a few minutes but in theory it should bring up your router name ( if its anything like mine though it brings up the immediate neighbours routers too) so highlight the correct one and press connect. Once it is connected just press back 'till you reach the main menu and select the item you want -Facebook etc- or use google for you tube, my space etc. When finished I suggest you go back into Apps and disconnect.
Be warned my son only had his a couple of days but I liked it so much I bought one for myself and now my husbands buying one to!!!!!!
