Cheap Holidays at Pontins £60 Club Grade, limited availability

i've only been to southport, this was my first pontins holiday. I noticed an ad yesterday for pontins, saying they were around 30% cheaper than butlins. I thought it a bit cheeky of them to charge 70% of butlins charges, considering that they are nowhere near as nice as butlins :eek:

The pool at prestatyn was cleaner than the southport one. The southport one reminds me of one that's been going since the war and never been cleaned out! lmao

The thing is, a lick of paint would make a tremendous difference to those parks. they're in a time warp. I went to Pontins with my family in the seventies and Prestatyn is exacly the same as it was then. (Except of course older and falling to bits!)

HI all, I went to both Pontins Prestatyn and Southport this year and would definitely say Prestatyn was the cleaner and better camp. I wouldnt be in a hurry to do Southport again

We are going back to S'port tho. DS loved the crazy golf course and the ducks over the road were adorable!
What they COULD do with is a decent footie/netball/tennis area

I was at camber sands last week and I re-booked for next year while I was there.I booked a mid-week break for 13th July next year in a club chalet for £65.I paid a £10 deposit and was given £10 of pontins pounds with my receipt. I thought this was good value.

It is, really, because you wouldnt get anything under £200 in a haven park in july I dont think. And thats a club. If people wanted a base for the area, for 4 people for £65 that's a great deal, esp as you can cook all your meals and the elec is free.

Well Ive been to both Brean Sands and Hemsby and none of those pics are from either of them
