My mum and sis swear by that one too - might try it myself when I'm there next weekSome people see the glass half full, others see the glass half empty - the enlightened are simply grateful to have a glass0 -

Had a great time last week at Hemsby, the "Club" challet was ok for £60 but a little bit tatty in places, if i was paying £300 odd i would have not accepted it , all the staff were friendly and chatty, spoke to a lady while queing up at the takeaway and she paid £260 for her Club challet
Weather was great all week only had a little bit of rain for about 20 mins and of course that happened while we were picking strawberries , never seen them like it they were lovely and massive with a few varieties to pick
We were located dead opposite the entrance to the Reception, my daughter loved playing with all the other kiddies in the lovely grassed area infront of the chalet.
Didnt get time to try the chinese but for a great cafe near the beach that did a huge breakfast with coffee for £4.50, filled us up all day until teatime
Entertainment from the Bluecoats was excellent, and the juggler chap that was on Wednesday night was excellent especially riding a unicycle with one leg and juggling a load of things at the same time :T0 -

I came back from Hembsy on Monday, we were in a classic chalet paid £70. It was clean and tidy and we really enjoyed the break. I got roaped up to going on stage very enbarassing trying to triddle this rod so the boat would win the race, I didnt win though but had a laugh. Enjoyed swimming in the pool and just totally relaxing. Thanks to Op for a cheap weekend awayCompetitions wins 2010

Hey, I watched all of the boat races so I must've seen youI wasn't over-impressed with the evening entertainment over the weekend apart from the 'unlikely lads' on sunday. Going back next week for my freebie competition win so hoping it may be better then

We only watched the entertainment that night, the next two nights we walked in to Hemsby for the evening and won a few cuddly toys which was great fun. We did tr and get the freebie to Hemsby for the 23rd but they were all gone so I am taking the boys to Cambersands. Although Hemsby is easier for me to get to by train and my Sister in law lives in Yarmouth so its a chance to catch up with each other. Hopegully we will get another cheepie back to Hemsby as the kids love it thereCompetitions wins 2010

:rotfl: Also not far from Hemsby is a Horse Sanctuary - which is FREE to visit. Just the other side of Yarmouth. LOADS to rescued horses, donkeys, ponys etc most of which will come up to the fence to be stroked. Lots of educational material, and you can adopt one of the animals ........or patronise the tea shop if you want to make a financial contribution0
