    It's seasonally adjusted....

So that's 0.1% IN ADDITION to the spring bounce.

    Nationwides SA was around 1.7%.

If Halifax is using a similar adjustment then the actual price you pay for a house, as opposed to a seasonally adjusted index number, increased by £2916 last month.

Now remind me again doire, when the price you pay for a house increases by £2916 in 30 days, that's called a crash, right? :)

Just had a check on rightmove and a lot of the houses listed by a local ea that are in my price range have been dropped by between 2k and 5k today, i have yet to see any houses i have looked at in the past 12 months actually rise in price.

So it looks like its actually pretty difficult to bounce a burst ball in my neck of the woods:)

Go on then shut me up with a flowchart or something:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

Are you aware of the concept of asking prices (rightmove) and sold prices (this)?

house prices have risen 0.1% in a month WOW. the only reason for this is because of the super rich who are buying properties in and around london mainly. these people have not and will not be affected by the downturn. we live in the REAL world and prices are falling or at best level in most areas of the country. only a fool cant see it.

Dont worry somebody will be along soon with a flowchart and some statistal data on averages and show you why 0.1% is an amazing rise in prices.

Average house prices where i live are quite a lot different than what some bank tells me the average price is anyway

Hang on, let's just clarify this amazing piece of information. You're saying, and stop me if I'm wrong, that house prices around your area are not exactly the same as the national average house price? Are Reuters aware of this groundbreaking piece of news? Do you need us to put this on to the wires? Are the nationals aware that their front page may need to change so late in to the day?

I still think we need a music appreciation thread, +/- 0.1% isn't even worth passing comment on

What's your thoughts on Shellac? The band, not the resin found in the female lac bug.

Think you are missing the point clever ar5e, if i thought that then all houses would cost the same wouldnt they, the point is who gives a flying f*uck what the national average of house prices is, its a meaningless average number given to the public by a bank, why would i believe what a gang of dirty robbing b*stards tell me.

Also who gives a flying f*uck wether the average house increases or decreases by 0.1%, why do the banks bother to release meaningless data, is it to entertain that scoth t*t who keeps throwing numbers at everybody so he can feel like hes won something.

Im coming to the conclusion that i dont talk posh enough to post on these boards, i seem to be pi**ing certain people off because i missed a full stop or a comma in one of my posts, if my spelling winds you up so much mate then dont fuc*king read what i write, If only i was as clever as that scotch t*t i could post a flowchart to prove that you are a right snotty get.

Anybody know where that wierd fella gets all his data and theorys from, i need a flowchart asap

92 posts until eBreakdown, new record?

I find these people that insist stats and facts are pointless on a discussion board such as this very strange.
