            Yep agree with Silvafox. Having a Step Account, means auto decline for any credit products with Natwest (except a full current account). Personally, I would allow the Current Plus account to run for at least 6 months, then apply for a credit card
Not true. You are not automatically declined just because you have a Step Account - it's just very rare that an application will through.
Also, sometimes you can get declined for even a full current account.
