eBay is giving me a rough time..

It is actually possible to neg someone after 90 days...if the other person doesn't know about this, then you might get away with it."There are no pockets in a shroud..."0

Don't worry about this plonker! He either hasn't bothered sending it or doesn't know what he is doing! Can you not make a claim via RM? Don't shout at me cos I don't know how it works! I went to po the other day and asked for a COP the idiot just gave me a reciept and said it was all on there! it wasn't but he was one of those stiffs that just grunts at you so I just left it!
What is this sellers feedback like? With regards to you talking about not doing ebay anymore - you say you have over 500+ transactions surely you must have had a few teething problems! If not then here they are! Don't get yourself worked up by the idiot can you not phone him? after all if it is a book then it probably didn't cost that much ( sorry if it did and was a first edition or something) Surely if this other person is a regular ebayer he won't wanna incur a neg from this when it can be helped! you can suggest he gets a COP everytime etc! Otherwise demand a refund (politely) and say these things happen and that if you sort the refund amicably then you both either leave positive feedback or none at all!

neg them, BUT, put his phone number in the neg
that way, if he negs you, tell him to look at the feedback,
he will complain and then BOTH feedbacks will be removedmoney saving my @rse.
I've spent 10x as much as I would if I had never discovered this website :-)

can't believe sellers who don't get a COP - if it's a book it's not like you can get the correct stamps from your corner shop and pop it into the postbox, you have to go to the post office to get it weighed and get the correct stamps, to not get a COP while you're there is complete laziness!
i hope it all gets sorted out okay ... how does the paypal thing work? do they have to provide a COP to prove they sent it to you?52% tight0 -
Angel hun, trust me the seller doesn't give a sh** if my item is here or not. If you read my OP, you will see the sellers response. As i have already said a couple of times, its the sender who has to make the claim. I can't make the claim because one, i didn't send it, two, i have no proof and 3 i don't know what PO they sent it from (the seller is not responding to my email anymore, he's made that clear) In this instance, there is absolutely no point in ringing the person because we have reached stalemate. Hence my Paypal claim. I would only ring a seller if i had had heard nothing whatsoever. However, i have.
The sellers feedback has fallen into disrepair over the last 7 days. (7 negs in the last week!) I am not the only one who hasn't received my book. He's had 439 transactions so he's no newbie!
The value of the book was £10. It was a book i desperately needed for study reasons and to be honest, its not the issue of the expense although i HATE wasting money (reason why i'm on this site mainly!)#
Demand a refund? I did! Until i saw blue in the face. Like i keep saying, he doesnt care. I repeat his final response:
"you book was sent second class if its not there no it's not there i dont know where it is "
Of course i've encountered other crap on eBay. Its just when i come across 2 crap sellers in a week, it seriously pees me off! I didn't say i was jacking it in, just taking a step back and having a break."There are no pockets in a shroud..."0 -

Well the seller must really stupid. He has no proof of sending my item. Therefore i will most likely get my money back (fingers crossed) He will also receive a strike from eBay and my claim will go on file with his Paypal.
All this could of been avoided if only he would of proceeded with the RM claim for me. But no, he, in a nutshell, told me to get stuffed.
To qualify for Seller Protection you need to send your item by some trackable method (ie Recorded/special) Best thing about it, the dumbass seller never offered any insurance with the book anyway. In fact i had to email for the P+P b4 the auction ended. No choices, just one price.
If i was vindictive i would send him dog poo through the post."There are no pockets in a shroud..."0 -
sorry!
It is a shame! and £10 is £10! That was a bad comment from me! of course it is the principle and the lining someones elses pocket in that way that makes you so angry! I can appreciate that, as it has happened to me a couple of times to the value of £50 after that I was extra careful of who I bought off!
I don't know how people can blatently take peoples money so deceitfully like that! it isn't fair! He definately sounds like he hasn't bothered sending the book! He probably feels he doesn't wanna do ebay anymore so is getting a few extra ££££ and isn't worried about negs! stupid really as his address is readily available! and making sure he doesn't get too much so people might just not persue it!
