What model of phone do I need?!

Hi, hope someone can please give me some advice. I need a new PAYG mobile; I've checked out Martin's advice about retailers etc. so I'm pretty confident about where to go to buy, but I do need some help in knowing what to buy! I know nothing about mobiles and they all seem to have hundreds of features that I don't necessarily want to pay for. I tend not to trust the 'recommendations' of sites that sell the things; afterall they want you to pay more!

So, does anyone have any recommendations? I'm looking for something fairly small, not too bothered about cameras, internet capability or anything but I would like it to have MP3/Real/True ringtones. And preferably be black, without one of those annoying sticky-out aerials.

it all depends on what specifics you want the phone to have? bluetooth? camera? MP3?
i personally wouldnt recommend a motorola, the menu is harder to navigate then say a nokia or samsung, and they tend to cause more problems
