How old is this dog & are you sure there isn't something wrong with him?

£50 or not the vet sounds to me like it may be worth a phone call at the very least

Oh no - not worried at all - we have a vet near us like that :(

Hoping Cassie is ok too. Certainly made us aware of the danger of eating strange things !! x

    He is 10 months old.

I have spent around £400 at the vets since getting him at 4.5 months old - I am not falling for it again! they wont give advice over the phone they just tell me to bring him in.

Sometimes you just have to go with your gut instinct, vets are great but sometimes are very quick to charge, i swear we wouldn't be so quick to hand over money if it was our children,we would question it more, but animals no... we just seem to feel bad and emabarrassed for questioning things :undecided Hope doggie improves very soon

Thanks.. I agree I have just accepted what they have said and paid up! he has had a dodgy tummy for months and vets just kept treating, charging and sending me off - we have managed to sort it by just changinjg his food!

If it was one of the kids I wouldnt take them to the doctors if they were acting weird otherwise I would be there every day :D

Now that is a distinct possibility as he spend most of his walks in and out of the river!

He couldn't have a bit of twig stuck in an uncomfortable place could he? Mine has acted a bit odd before and then I've found she can't lie down because if she tries a bit of twig digs in. I've also seen one stare into a corner when she was in discomfort after being spayed.

My springer spaniel is a good muddy puddle hunter too! He knows that he has to go for a swim in the big clean pond before we go home though lol.

He is also acting a bit wierd at the moment too, one of my neighbours dogs is in season and it is sending all the male dogs in our road crazy, mine is pacing around the room most of the time and scratching at the floor/chairs. Whilst my neighbours 10 year old westie has to go on medication every time this other dog is in season because it sends him crazy, poor thing :(
Slimming World - 3 stone 8 1/2lbs in 7 months and now at target :j
