My dog is acting really weird..

I work from home but on a Tuesday I get a dog walker so that I can do my appointments if I need to. Today I have had no appointments but am using the extra time to catch up.
When he got back from his walk with the dog walker, he was filthy, so I hosed him down as usual, but he has been wandering around ever since, he keeps stopping and shaking himself then wandering around again, then stopping and just standing there staring at me - he is now completely doing my head in as I have no idea what he wants or what is matter with him!
He usually lays next to me or sleeps during the day when we are at home.
Any ideas???

When I have to hose Barney down, I give him a warm drink of tea after and he goes to sleep (he does sulk when he's hosed).
He probably had such fun that he wants to go again

:rotfl::rotfl: I can just imagine him drinking a cup of tea!
I have to hose him down at least once a day (usually twice) - he would find a mud bath in a desert
- he is used to being hosed down but he is just acting really weird! he normally had a bit of a grump about it but then is fine once he is inside and warm again.
At the moment he is stood facing the corner with his head resting on a low table. !0 -
That does sound like a big sulk

I hope he hasn't eaten anything while he was out?
Keep an eye on him, if you start worrying phone vet?I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the Old style MoneySaving boards.

Call your walker and make sure your dog didn't eat any horse poo !! My parents-in-law's og is currently in a vet hospital ery ill and they believe it is because on Saturday she ate some horse poo and as it is the time of year where horses are wormed, it has done her some awful harm

The dog has been fitting almost continually since and I am just waiting for an udate from them now. One of the first signs of her fitting, that we didn't realise was a symptom at first, was she seemed really bewildered, not sure where she was and acting really out of sorts.
I don't want to scare you but cannot stand the thought of anyone else going through what we are at the moment. Maybe callyour walker and check??
Hope she is ok and is just sulking lol xx0 -

He ate some horse poo at the weekend! he was out with my brother and he told me that both Jack and my brothers dog both ate it!
He has move from the corner now and is in his bed, but he is not being normal.. I will keep an eye on him - thank you!0 -
Please, please call your vet and get some advise

Apparently it is the worming medicine they give to horses and the fact that dogs seem to really want to eat horse poo.
Please keep us updated - Cassie ate the poo Saturday and had first fit on Sunday afternoon.

I have just spoken to my brother. It was Friday he took him not Saturday.
I am just going to keep an eye on him - I am not calling the vet they will tell me to take him in and then charge me £50 for the privilage like they usually do.. my brother is going to ring his friend who has horses as he might know more..
He said they didnt eat much before he stopped them...0 -

Also my brother pointed out that he is weird
(my brother has my dogs brother and they are both weird..)
My dog always eats/drinks horrible things! he often drinks black puddle water - yuk!
I am a bit worried but not worried enough to phone the vet (I hope you dont think I am awful saying that, it is just that they are very money happy at our vets and they will find any excuse to put the on antibiotics/give them an injection/have several consultations...
Hope your PIL's dog is OK too!0
