Tesco mobile pay monthly

Has any body else had a problem with Tesco Mobile . For the second time since Ive been with them they have taken two lots of money from my account. Both times I have to had to go to the effort of proving this as they say their accounts show only one payment has been taken Today i check my on-line account to see that yesterday they took nearly £100 from my account in stead of £49 putting me in the red and unable to pay for my children's school lunches on-line. I have spoken to them but the onus is now on me to prove that they've taken the money twice. Last time I had to wait over one month to get the money back after quite a battle

Any one else had this problem any advice?

    1. Direct Debit - your customers rights
    2. Stop calling them. Most incompetent staff work in call centres. E-mail or complain by post.
As a side note, spending £50 p.m. on mobile while having no emergency fund for children school lunches looks very odd.

If it happens again, try contacting your bank rather than Tesco mobile.
Explain that the payment has been taken in error, and this has happened twice before and you wish to apply the direct debit guarantee and demand a full and immediate refund. If a payment has been taken twice, this will be quite obvious to your bank.
Your bank is obliged to do this under the direct debit guarantee.
Sadly, Tesco Mobile may pay more attention to your bank than you. There is no way you should have to "fight" to get your money back. Make your bank do the hard work.
The staff at my bank's call centre are extremely competent and have always been able to help me with any query.
As it has now happened twice, it sounds like something may be set up incorrectly on your account, so expect it to happen again, but contact your bank next time.

    Hope this helps. :-)
