this is the cake we had but we had claret coloured iced flowers and not so many flowers http://www.fancifulcakes.co.uk/Catalogue/W165.htm0

LOL I think I would've gone for a more classic claret colour too
I liked this one, this one and this one! But also the suitcase one and the ones where there is a 'drape' of icing sugar, I know how tricky that can be!Honorary Northern Bird bestowed by AnselmI'm a Board Guide and volunteer to help get your forum questions answered and keep the forum running smoothly on Special Occasions, Green/Ethical, Motoring/Overseas/UK Travel & Flood boards, it's not part of my role to deal with reportable posts. For my make-up I had a Body Shop at Home party (and no I don't work for them!
), and had the 'Make Me Fabulous' party and the lady did all my make-up and gave me a lot of advice about how to do it on the day and depending on how much other people buy you get a % of freebies. My BM's / mum, etc were all there so each bought one or two bits for their make-up for the day and I got £25 of freebies for me! :T

Strange as though it might sound Freecycle is also a good place for wedding freebies.

www.weddingpath.co.uk - set up your own free wedding website. You can put all sorts on there - pictures of who and where, maps and accomodation info and an RSVP page so that your guests can respond to your invitation!0

HiJandan. I am in the same process of you at the moment. Getting married in July and planning to do it with as little cost as possible. I got my invites done at vista print. They also send you lots of emails offering free items (you just pay for p&p). I got all the day and evening invites, thank you cards, meal option cards, table number cards and bisness cards (going to use them as name places. All the items have the same logo and cost about £120 in total. I got other stuff for free after that.0

Try freecycle. A girl on theknot.com just scored a free head piece yesterday.0
