I actually have a question regarding this. Can i replace the old sockets we have in one room, with newer stainless steel ones that match the rest of our house? No installing new sockets in different positions, or anything like that. Just a straight swap. Am i allowed to just turn off the power to upstairs and do this myself, or do i legally need to get a registered electrician to do it?
Yes (as long as you know what your doing)0 -
'Cos if you look at his question history, it'll make you head spin.
He needs to learn not to take the !ss out of people who are very willing to help.
huh?
How is this question taking the !!!!?
I have never done socket replacements before, so was just asking for the rough price per socket replacement in a rewire, What is wrong with that type of a question ? you guys have the experience and know the stuff.
