Lost a pair of £35 bloc sunglasses a couple of weeks ago Primark provided a very adequate replacement for £1!!! At that price I could afford to lose dozens more!

I agree! I bought a pair too yesterday, plus a sturdy case to keep them safe for £3 total.
I also bought a lovely enamelled pendant yesterday - so pretty. From a period of totally garish jewellery Primark do seem to have now started producing some attractive wearable pieces.
I love the Fimo rose-shaped earrings, though the nicer colours seem to go quickly. I found a lemon and pale peach double set abandoned with the bracelets yesterday, (Darlington) no sign of any others.

I noticed in Primark they had jeans in regular short and long length today folded up on the jeans counters not hung up on hangers- long was 34 leg i think. I've never noticed this before. I'm 5ft 7 and they were wayyyy to long in the leg for me. hth

Kaggle, that's brilliant. :j I'll have to trek up to my nearest huge store which is Newcastle. My daughter is 6'2'' and struggles to find trousers to fit. I'm 5' 9'' and Primarni stuff is now a decent length on me, didn't used to be 20 years ago.

My Mum loves those, first thing she bought for herself from Primark because she believed she was too old to shop there. I had heard good things about the linen trousers and she said she didnt want to pay £25 elsewhere so she gave the Primark ones a try and was really chuffed with them.

The linen trousers are the only ones I've had that don't lose their shape too much or get too baggy around the waist. So much better than more expensive ones I've bought.

My sister-in-law likes the stretch and other jeans from Primark (can't remember price).

    she's 5 ft 9 and a size 6 to 8.

Have no idea about the quality as I don't get the jeans but I suppose they last fairly well as she likes them.

Primark I do find are good for tops - brother got his wife a cream blouse/shirt recently and I saw some great boho style ones but not in my size!

Oooh Kaggle it is, I'm in Aycliffe, I don't run a car but can do the 21 bus to Sedgefield and then the X1 to Boro. Thank you. Haven't been to the Boro for a while. I do love the Newcastle Primarni store though, used to shop there when it was C & A.
Goodness, that seems such a long time ago, and it probably was.
